Bedsharing With Your Breastfed Baby
Many parents have questions about how to make nighttime feedings safer and easier for them and their breastfed baby. This video will show the recommendations on how to make bedsharing a safer experience, from the Safe Sleep Seven to how to cuddle-curl, or “breastsleep.” We will have a family demo how they make their bed a safer sleeping surface and even show their night-cam footage of when they bedshare at night.
These videos are not a replacement for seeing a lactation consultant in person. I will always try to help identify when one needs to be seen and give links on how to find one in your area for individualized and in-person support. These videos are also not providing medical advice, as each person’s situation is unique and needs to be evaluated by a medical professional in person.
