Tongue Ties and Breastfeeding
Tongue-Ties are a common cause of a painful latch, poor weight gain for baby and low milk supply for moms. Often the symptoms of a tongue-tie can be hard to assess. In this video we learn how to identify common symptoms of a tongue-tie seeing real pictures and videos of breastfeeding babies. We learn about the frenotomy procedure that is done to release the tongue-tie and how to care for baby’s tongue after the procedure.
